Plan a Themed Wedding!

So you like to be different? Want to have fun? Well....

You don't have to choose the more traditional style of Wedding. Wedding Themes are becoming much more popular in the UK. Wedding Themes started out in the US but are becoming increasingly popular here. Here are some of ideas about possible Wedding Themes. If you have more ideas then please feel free to add comments!

Themes:

Rock Wedding: A couple of years ago we were asked to be involved in a Rock Music Themed Wedding! This included the bride wearing a black gothic dress, a bat wedding cake, guests asked to wear rock band t-shirts and jeans or gothic clothing and an excellent live rock band ( The band were called Burning Angels - an Essex based Classic Rock band)!

Tudor/Castle Wedding: Tudor weddings have been very popular over the last few years and look their best when coupled with the right venue such as a Tudor mansion or castle. Wedding dresses are in the traditional princess style and guests wear period clothing. The Wedding breakfast takes the form of a Tudor feast and music is played by harpists or lute players in a classical style.

Beach Wedding: These Weddings are very popular in the US and Oz for obviuos reasons! So we don't have any tropical beaches in the UK...So what! A few years ago we covered a Beach Bums Wedding in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. The Bride and Groom were avid Surfers and wanted their wedding to have a laid back beach vibe. The bride and groom wore surf/beach clothing and the guests were asked to do the same. The reception consisted of lots of sand being brought in, artificial palm trees and tropical plants and a barbecue wedding breakfast!

The possibilities are endless...let your imagination run wild!
