Stress Free Honeymoon Tips

Useful tips to help plan a stress free honeymoon

With so much planning to do before your wedding a bride has more than enough on her plate with all the many details involved in planning the wedding. Planning a honeymoon during this hectic period and can sometimes turn a laid back bride into a bridezilla, adding to all the pressures and stress of making the wedding arrangements. So I thought I’d try and help stop the transformation from bride to bridezilla by compiling some useful tips to help.
Planning early for your honeymoon is a definite must and will give both the bride and groom more time to plan by staying organised and on top of everything.
For some the honeymoon can be just as important, if not more important than the wedding day itself and so really researching into the honeymoons location and the type of activities you wish to do is an essential part of the planning process.
I know this may seem like a silly point but make sure that your passport is in date, you need to have your passport at least the duration of you stay. If you do happen to forget this important factor then you can get a new passport within a matter of days if you pay a bit extra for your passport, but depending on where you are located in the country you may need to go to a specialist next day delivery passport centere.
With four to six months to go you should have your honeymoon destination booked and have sent off the required deposits.

If your leaving the UK then please make sure that you shop around to get the best deal on your currency, even if you’re going all inclusive it is best to have a bit of cash on you in case of emergency.
With a month to go before the honeymoon make sure that any clothing or toiletries that you need have been bought and try to photo copy the itinerary and required documents. If you have any pets or children that aren’t coming with you on the honeymoon then try and arrange getting someone to look after them. The last thing you want to be doing when you’re on honeymoon is to be worrying about the dog whilst you’re on honeymoon.
With one week to go if the wedding is still on and your bride has not become much of a bridezilla, then start packing. Now is the time to make sure everything fits and that you have everything you need to take with you please don’t leave this until your wedding night!
On the day of the honeymoon double check everything and most importantly enjoy yourself and spending the only bit of peace and quiet you’ll have for quite some time.
